Jacqueline Casey Design Services, MIT · 1955–1989
Jacqueline Casey (1927–1992) joined MIT's Office of Publications in 1955, recruited by Muriel Cooper, and directed Design Services from 1972 until she retired in 1989. Across thirty-four years she made hundreds of posters, joining an American taste for visual metaphor to the discipline of Swiss typography.
